Rooster Dot Plate
What you’ll need:
Bisque
1011 - 1011 LARGE SUSHI PLATE (10.75W)
Color
2304 - FS-2304 PINT GREEN ACRES
2314 - FS-2314 PINT BLACK LAB
2315 - FS-2315 PINT WHAT A YOLK

6571 - 6571 - AQUALON 2835 SOFT FAN 8
Instructions:
Step 1 Using a fan brush apply 3 coats of Black Lab to the entire plate.
Step 2 Trace pattern onto the plate.
Step 3 Using the paper technique, place your rooster cutout on the plate.
Step 4 Using the Fun Writers, the pattern and the photo apply dots in a horizontal direction from top to bottom filling in the areas noted in the pattern. Fill in the solid areas using Fun Writers, to add interest and break up the dots (see photo).
NOTE: Leave wider spaces between some of the color changes so you have some think black areas between them to create depth (see photo). If dots connect, for best results, let plate dry completely and then use a Sgraffito tool to scratch out between the dots. Be careful not to scrape down to the bisque or you could get crawling.
Step 5 Dip in Dazzle Dip Clear Glaze and fire to cone 06.
